DAILY LIFE/CONTENT WITH ME OVER ON INSTAGRAM!

Today on the blog:
Galentine's OR Valentine's: 3 Unique Ways to Celebrate!
My favorite Idea: Each person buys two bottles of wine on their own (Trader Joe's you have my heart and soul) then pick ONE bottle to drink with a new dinner recipe. Label the remaining 3 bottles for future dates like: bad day at work, birthday, anniversary, no kids night etc. Get creative and have some self control people! Be sure to label them with cute tags to add to the fun. This way they feel like gifts and not just any bottle you can drink.
If you want to find out my secret to a lite version of homemade pizzas and other fun ideas, head to the link in my bio!
I'm a sucker for these kind of holidays and I know they can feel lonely or stupid. Even if you are in a relationship. Don't create expectations, create memories together! How GOOD does it feel to celebrate your love for someone and see them smile whether that be a friend, family member or your main squeeze.
Stay Spicy,

Meg 😻😻😻
This picture had me thinking. Everytime we walk across this Earth, every visit to a new place, it's like a piece of our soul is left there in existence just floating around passing each other by. All the steps we have walked marking a place between reality and our soul existence.
Monday night I did something totally out of my comfort zone! My friend camille invited me to a get together with a group of ladies where we did a clothing swap!!
Then last night I went to an event with my sister for Beauty Counter. Something that really stuck with me was when one of the women was talking about having confidence and conversation!
When you have the confidence to share something you genuinely love and then create meaningful conversations with those around you, THAT is when you can start to make connections and find support from others. For me, it made sense in many forms because showing up to the event on Monday night to do the clothing swap had me a little nervous. Finding confidence around new people and making conversations is usually pretty difficult for the majority of us from a young age. We look for a place where we seem to "fit in". Sometimes I almost feel like an introvert because I don't want to spend time around women who come off fake or pretentious. This has kept me hiding for way too long!! Monday night I had never felt as comfortable as I did at the clothing swap. These women were bold, inviting and creative. We spent a few hours digging through clothes in our undies and it was legit like the sisterhood of the traveling pants. I can't really describe the power I felt in lifting one another up through complimets and encouraging words around our bodies. The kindness that surrounded us instead of judgement was EMPOWERING.
Walking a way I remembered that we are constantly growing and with that growth can come the change of who we bring into our lives and where we want to spend our time. No matter if you are 13 or going on 30 that feeling exists for men AND women.
I wish I could have brought home alllll the papayas from Hawaii but we did buy girl scout cookies from my niece last night. I definitely miss the healthy swaps that come from island living. Tell me your favorite fruit/ girl scout cookie below. 😏😋👅
I don't usually post on Saturdays...But here's to showing up every single day in all aspects of life.
Kiss a little longer, love a little harder and get outside for an adventure babes. See you there! 🧜‍♀️⛰🧜‍♂️❣
I came home and my small apartment was totally overwhelming. Six weeks of growth and development and I honestly feel pretty confused. What is my next step? As a 7 Enneagram I thrive off possibilities and loveeee to look at my future. I'm at this apparent crossroads with a choice to stay on the path I know or leap into the depths of the unknow waters. I'm sharing because I know Instagram can be a very surface level appearance on life.
If you look really closely at this picture you can see 3 people at the top. These daredevils were my friends. This cliff was probably double the height of the one I jumped off of a week before. I can still see the 3 of them walking up the path together that disappeared into the trees. Some of us watched from the beach cheering them on waiting in anticipation. The waves would finally die down and each one found the courage to jump. There is courage all around us. There are people taking chances knowing the risks but not the actual outcome. It's not always a bad choice to opt out and be the person watching from the beach either. But we fight our mind about what's logical, safe and grounding and that might hold us back from greatness too. When I came home a sweet friend told me this, "not very many things we do out of comfort lead to incredible experiences or the growth that we so desire to change the world."
I made it through ten days at Kaui Power Yoga in Hawaii!!! My body typically runs super hot but I don't really sweat much except for the heated classes during yoga. They were my absolute favorite. The toxins are streaming out of yours pours and all your emotions are getting realeased with every droplet of sweat. The teacher would often ask us to find our "focus point" which helps create balance and stability within your poses. I had a really hard time looking up when finding my focus point and realized this is pretty typical for me when just walking around outside sometimes! The teachers and music were different but the sequences were similar and somewhat repetitive. This pushed me to do each movement better and better to go deeper. There were days it was easy to curl into certain poses and days I could hardly balance. The challenge was totally addicting!!! Showing up every single day to do something for my body like this was incredible. Where are all my yoga girls at?! Where is your favorite place to go?! If you are teaching somewhere comment below. 🌠🌅🌠🌅🌠
One of my weddings was in Arizona last year with Megan and Bubba. When we did their engagement photos in Colorado Bubbas only request was a picture of his shoes! Swipe right.😏 One of my favorite images is a picture I got with them climbing through the barbed wire fence! (Head to my website portfolio for that one)! Megan literally ran in the desert with high heels on like the bad ass she is. (Also front cover of my website). 💃
It was mid November and the weather was perfect. I honestly couldn't have matched with a better client. The entire day ran smoothly and they embraced each moment with such a calm demeanor. When we were taking family photos Meg looks over to me and says, "That's it! Time for sunset photos." I'm grateful for the respect and trust she had in me to give me the time to create magic with them during golden hour light. 🌅🌅🌅
To Meg and Bubba: Your love is truly radiant, playful and admired by so many around you. Thank you for choosing me.
Stay Spicy.
